I’m a recent Duplicacy convert coming to you from the Duplicati realm. I can’t begin to express how much better your Duplicacy is! I’m running it as the docker container that is available to UnRAID users via the Community Applications plugin, and couldn’t be happier. Bought a 5-year license straight away.
I’ve searched the forums a bit and didn’t see this question, so my apologies if it’s been answered a billion times.
In duplicati it was important to not just have the backup data and the password, but also the config data for that backup. Is that the case here too? It doesn’t appear to be, but before I send away my offsite back-up drives, I want to be sure that they’ll be useful if my house burns down and I don’t have the original config.
