Cli stable version?

My duplicacy web is set to update to the latest CLI stable version on startup but is still at version 2.7.2, which is a couple of years old. Is this actually the latest stable version, or is something with the automatic updating failing?

Hi last CLI is 3.1.0

I know that’s the latest version, but is it also the stable version? And if so, why isn’t my duplicacy web updating the CLI version that it uses?

The “check” url still shows the latest stable version as 2.7.2, I don’t know why…

Possible compatibility issue between 2.7.2 and 3.1.0 on existing backups ?

I install Duplicacy Web Edition last month, and default CLI selectionned is “Latest”

Stable is 2.7.2 and latest is 3.1.0.

3.1.0 is backward compatible, so you can upgrade to 3.1.0 without affecting existing backups. However, 2.7.2 (or older) can’t read backups created by 3.1.0.

Thanks for the clarification. Will improvements made since 2.7.2 ever make it into a newer stable release, or will I either need to enable “update to latest” or perform manual updates to get anything beyond 2.7.2?
