Duplicacy Unraid Docker SMB or NFS

Hello!

I am using the docker version of Duplicacy on my unRaid server. I have a MyCloud Western Digital networked hard drive that I want to use as a back up storage device in Duplicacy.

The NAS supports SMB or NFS but I don’t see those options in Duplicacy. What is the best way of using an SMB or an NFS share in Duplicacy?

If it isn’t possible, what have others done to somehow use an SMB or NFS share in Duplicacy?

I see that SFTP is supported but the WD NAS only supports FTP. I am not sure if there is an SMB to SFTP proxy that could be used?

Thanks!

CLI supports SMB backend. Direct Samba support in CLI, but it is not in the web ui.

You can also mount the wd over NFS and backup to the mountpoint.

I’d be very surprised if wd did not support SFTP. Are you sure about that? Can you not ssh to the WD?

Edit. Found this. So you can use sftp

Thank you! I did see the option for SSH but I figured I would need to use SCP instead of SFTP. I was able to add the NAS as a storage device. Cheers!
