How to initiate a backup for multiple repositories?

One more question @gchen please. So I see how to init the repo per your instructions. How do I initiate the backup?

Can I simply type duplicacy backup threads 2 in the root directory or do I need to cd into

/mnt/user/Downloads/Manual/Test1

then type

duplicacy backup threads2

and then then cd into

/mnt/user/Downloads/Manual/Test2

and finally type

duplicacy backup threads 2

?

Or is there a better way to do that?

If by root directory you mean / (as opposed to the root of the repository), no.

Yes.

If you want to avoid that, you can either initiate a single repository in a directory shared by all directories to be backed up (e.g. /mnt/usr/Downloads/Manual) and use filters or in any empty directory and use symlinks to point to the directories to be backed up.
