The time has come to buy a new computer. After the programs were installed, it was time to transfer the files. I could do this in several different ways (lan sync, external hdd, etc.), but I decided to do a fire test with Duplicacy: do a “full restore” as if I didn’t have access to the original files (the old computer).
Result: almost 2TB of files “restored” without a single error.
@gchen, thank you for developing such an effective tool for something as important as backup. Duplicacy works well because it has a robust design and no points of failure like databases and other external dependencies.
