So I dual-boot Windows and MacOS (Hackintosh). Duplicacy seems to be perfect because I can have a license for each OS and use a shared storage so it means no double uploading.
My concern is that because I am backing up the same drives there will a single .duplicacy folder on the root of the drive. Will anything in this folder be overwritten when I switch OS and repository name? Will I be able to keep the snapshots of the backups that both Windows and MacOS perform?
I’m in the middle of my initial backups and I just wanted to know if there is anything that I should be aware of that could be a problem with my setup. Although as far as Duplicacy is concerned I have two computers the actual drives being backed up are the same.
