Backup fails with: operation timed out

Please describe what you are doing to trigger the bug:
I run a backup from web UI as usual. For three years the backup worked without problems.

Environment:

  • MacOs 14.2.1
  • Duplicacy Web Edition 1.7.2

Please describe what you expect to happen (but doesn’t):
From some point on, the backup started to fail. It fails on every run.
Machine resent, duplicacy reinstall and version update do not help.

Please describe what actually happens (the wrong behaviour):
The error message is:

How can I resolve this issue?

Make sure duplicacy is still allowed Full Disk Access in security settings.

Separately, there is no reason to backup Spotlight metadata. Bypass it with filters or add it to Time Machine exclusions.
