Best practice for backing up duplicacy config

Duplicacy automatically filters out the .duplicacy directory, which makes sense.

However things like the filters and scripts are worth backing up. In the pre-backup script I can easily tar up the important files and dump that tar file somewhere to be backed up.

Is there a best practice for this?

I think using the pre-backup script to make a copy of those files is a really good idea. Can’t think of anything better.
