I had some files with the wrong permissions added to a directory and they couldn’t be read. The files were logged as “WARN SKIP_FILE” but the backup succeeded. It wasn’t noticed for a while. Since the files were not backed up I wouldn’t consider the backup a success. Is it possible to have duplicity fail in this case?
