Can't activate Mac version

I finally got access to my in-laws Mac so that I could activate Duplicacy.
It doesn’s let me activate. When I launch it, I get a dialog that shows the following text with an OK button:

Duplicacy Error
activate

I can’t click on the menu bar icon and activate as it doesn’t get far enough in to show a menu bar icon, it just quits after I click the OK button in the dialogue.

After you run this command in Terminal you should be able to enter the activation code:

defaults delete com.acrosync.mac.duplicacy License
