Can't add webdav server

Hello,

I’m trying to add my webdav server but i’m having trouble to do so.
I receive this error:

Failed to check the storage at webdav://emailadress+providername@gmail.com@https://xxxx.connect.kdrive.infomaniak.com/Duplicacy: No username is provided to access the WebDAV storage.

I’ve found in the forum this problem is most likely related to the ‘+’ sign in my emailadress and should be solved in april 2020 but i t looks like it’s still a problem.
I also tried to replace the plus sign by ‘2%B’ but that didn’t help.
I will not change my emailadress so what else can I do to?

Are you using the paid version of kdrive?

I’m using the trial version ending tomorrow and then it will be the paid version. Why is this important?

I am also testing with Syncovery software, but I do not have this problem with it using the same emailadress.
When I use the plus-sign in my emailadress I’m able to see my folders but when I continue the error occurs.

The paid version supports WebDav. The free version does not. I am not sure about the trial version.

That said, kdrive in combination with Duplicacy and webdav is maybe not the best solution for creating backups. According Infomaniak:

Use the WebDAV protocol on kDrive for specific and occasional cases: if you want to work on your files and share them, kDrive is the ideal tool. However, to secure your data against loss or corruption and ensure the continuity of your activity, [Swiss Backup] is the essential and suitable solution.

The trial version does support webdav.

But this doesn’t fix the problem with the username.
