Create space by pruning?

Hi!

I have only recently realised that my backups to OneDrive have failed because I have run out of space.

On investigation I found that some of the folders I’ve been backing up are full of stuff that needed to be deleted, and should never have been backed up in the first place. I have since deleted the unnecessary files and folders and reclaimed a couple of hundred gigabytes of space.

The older backups are kind of irrelevant to me as I really only need the most up to date file and folder structures backed up.

What is the most efficient way for me to ensure that OneDrive only has the most recent backup? I really don’t fancy the idea of deleting everything and re-uploading 700GB of data.

Thanks.

If you only need to maintain a few days of history you can configure prune schedule to delete snapshots older than few days. E.g. duplicacy prune -a -keep 0:7. This will get rid of all revisions older than 7 days.

Thanks. I kind of had an idea that was going to be the best way to do it, but wasn’t 100% sure.
