DSM7 -> backup: permission denied

Hi,

Today I upgraded to from Synology DSM6 to DSM7.
I upgraded duplicacy to the new DSM7 package.

With the upgrade I lost all my settings. :frowning:
By recreating the backup configurations, I get now a “permission denied” error by accessing the folder to be back upped.

Can anybody please explain how to get access to the folders by duplicacy?

Thank you.

I found the setting. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The permission has to be set in the “Shared Folder” → “Permission” Tab.
Choose “System Internal User” and the set the permission for the duplicacy user.

A lot of things have changed from DSM6 to DSM7, including the directories to store all application settings. So you can’t simply migrate the old web GUI settings to DMS7.

In addition, third-party packages can’t run as root and each is assigned a special user account as you have already figured out.
