Since this morning, duplicacy web is detected as a trojan by my antivirus.
A few solutions on virustotal detect it as malicious VirusTotal
What is the cause of it ?
Duplicacy web is downloading and executing binaries from the internet, and accesses all user files. Maybe your antivirus does not like it. You can add it to exclusion list.
There is a whole separate conversation on usefulness of antivirus in this day and age, but if you have to use it for some reasons, e.g. company IT enforcing it, then adding as much as possible to exceptions should solve it and bring you some performance back.

It was indeed a false positive, submitting the file for reanalysis by the provider confirmed it (and removed it from the virus database).
Only Alibaba and Tencent gave the false positives. I tried to send a false positive report to them according to GitHub - namazso/VirusTotal-FPContacts: Contacts for VirusTotal scanners. However, none of my email providers allowed me to attach the zipped executable in the email.
