I only have a trial license if that’s significant and I am running on Win 2016 Server standard edition.
I am trying to setup the email notification to send backup notifications thru Office365. For other products I use the following settings to send notifications.
Server: smtp.office365.com
Port: 587
Connection Security: STARTTLS
I tried smtp.office.com:587 and receive this error
<Failed to send the email: dial tcp 40.97.128.226:587: i/o timeout>
I also tried smtps://smtp.office365.com and get this error.
<Failed to send the email: dial tcp: lookup tcp///smtp.office365.com: getaddrinfow: The specified class was not found.>
Any help would be appreciated.
