How does this work? Is this bidirectional? Do both need to be created as copy compatible or just one?
I have one storage which already has several revisions of a full backup. I want to make another storage that I can backup to and then copy to the first storage.
The first one wasn’t made copy compatible. Do I need to start again or can I just make the second copy compatible?
Second storage needs to be created as copy-compatible with the first.
It’s not compatibility with copying; it’s compatibility with another storage: some chunk generation and hashing parameters will be copied from the source storage.
So if I understand correctly it’s not bidirectional or is it?
It is. You can copy between copy-compatible storages in any direction.
