Suddenly I’m getting the error at launch:
Duplicacy Error
The license code xxxxxxxxxxxx is associated with xxxxxxxx
And then Duplicacy quits. So I am unable to get it to run.
I just deleted the license like this:
defaults delete com.acrosync.mac.duplicacy License
And now duplicacy is telling me
Activation code as already been assigned to xxxxxx. Please log into your Duplicacy customer page to change the host.
Hmm… but host name hasn’t changed… there was an macOS update last night… hmm
Ok, I tried changing the assigned host on the duplicacy customer page, and on my computer, no luck.
Any ideas?
Ah… so I gave up on changing my mac’s hostname from the Sharing section of the Settings.
I went to terminal and requested typed hostname. The name given there did not match the one in the settings!
But, this new host name worked when set the duplicacy.com’s customer page.
I’m not sure how this all got messed up… maybe the mac update?
