Exclude file type

Sorry for the newbie question but I’m getting lost in the explanations. I’m using the web edition through the gui.

I want to exclude certain file types from an entire backup.

As a test, I’ve tried adding this to the include/exclude filter:

-*.nef

Doesn’t work. What am I missing?

this definitely should have worked. what’s in the log?

Thanks for responding.

This backup is for a folder named CULLING JOBS and everything within it. I just want to exclude any file ending with .nef. I’ve created a test folder containing a few .nef files just to see if this exclusion works - but they are still being backed up despite the exclusion.

Looks like a known issue:

You can change your filter to

-*.NEF

OK that’s fine, thank you. At least I was close.
