Hi, has anyone come across this error or be able to help resolve it?
The web GUI was trying to download the CLI from github.com. Maybe the connection was blocked by a firewall?
Hello, thank you. I should have updated the post to say I turned off both the Windows firewall and my network’s firewall and had no luck. I also tried this behind a VPN to see if that worked with no lucky.
The machine/network is allowed out to the internet and should have no problems connecting to github. You are also able to browse to the site without issue.
I had this issue too! but it cleared itself up after 1) Adding into the Firewall Rules 2) Giving it a while and re-trying.

Amazonaws.com seems to be the remote server for that resource.
I guess being able to browse GitHub.com would not be enough in that case.
