My source NAS system must now be recovered (to make it faster, recovery will take place over network shares from a PC). After the recovery I like to use the same storage and structure again to perform the backup as before.
After the recovery the backup system to which duplicacy sends the encrypted and compressed and the source system should have identical files. Am I able to reinitialize the backup without transferring all files again?
Yes, if you pass the same storage url and repository/backup id to the init command it will be treated as the same backup.
