So I was setting up my mac, and I use long and random passwords and keys.
I cut and paste these keys from my password manager.
I realized, that since I cannot see the password/key that was pasted, I could easily make an error and be pasting the wrong characters!
Please make it possible to see the characters used for the passwords and keys.
Just to be clear: This happens when creating the srorage password for Duplicacy. If I cut and paste incorrectly, the password in duplicacy will not match the password I think I have. And in the future, I will not be able to access the backup.
So making the storage password visible is critical to being sure the key used matches the one the user keeps in their possession.
I’ll add a checkbox to show the password in the 2.1.1 release.
