How to add 'Onedrive' backend on Duplicacy-pkg-for-Synology?

Hello good guys of Duplicacy,

I’m experimenting with a NAS and I tried to add OneDrive to the backend list. I’m stuck at this screen where it wants a token.

How can I add a token if I need to upload a file to some location within Synology?

I can’t access the /root (home folder of root)

I can’t access any of the shares (where I can easily drop in a file)

Is there a path that Duplicacy uses? Maybe I can dump the token file there.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

I think you can upload to homes/admin in File Station, whose real path is /volume1/homes/admin.

Thanks for replying. I don’t have this folder. I will try to google it up later.

Hi again gchen,

Sorry for the late reply.

  1. You are right about that folder. As a result of some googling, I then went to enable the following “User Home” setting to see /homes/admin:

  2. I placed the OneDrive token file into /homes/admin folder

  3. Next, I tried to get to that folder from within Duplicacy but was met with this error:

It seems the Docker image can’t access the homes directory. Do I need to set some Docker permissions?

I fixed it by setting the correct permissions.
