I have understood Duplicacy as supporting multi-client deduplication, but I see nothing mentioned directly about this in the User Guide. I do see it implicitly being mentioned (something about ids needing to be unique), but I just wondered if there was a guide that explicitly mentioned how to setup multiple clients to backup to the same destination and have deduplication work for all of them.
I’m not sure if we need a guide for this, but you can just run the init command, once for each directory to be backed up, with different repository ids but the same storage url. The directories can be on the same computer or different computers. That is all, and the deduplication will work by itself.
