Interrupted backup - on continue, does it first compare file contents?

Hi,

I have accidentally killed my backup and now start from scratch. Terabytes. Now I can’t backup all at once, because I need to turn off the computer in my absence.

Does it always, on continue, read and compare whole file contents of the already writte backup? That would be a death sentence for this kind of backup. Because at my r/w speeds, when e.g. it wrote 6 hours, on continue it would first read data for 3 hours, without writing a bit. Which seems to be the case.

If it is an initial backup, Duplicacy should skip files that have been completely uploaded on resume. For subsequent backups it will won’t be able to do this.
