Issue with backing up Truecrypt file

I’ve been using duplicacy for the last week, currently backing up to a usb drive with plans to move to backblaze B2 once all is working well.

I have hit a problem with one of the files in the storage. It is a Truecrypt encrypted storage file 2gb and for some reason Duplicacy doesn’t like it and aborts the backup. If I remove the file it is fine. If I test the file by connecting via truecrypt the file works fine as well.

Any thoughts.

Hi Miles,

This is looking like a drive issue, as its stating “input/output” error. could you test copying this file to a different USB Flash Drive as a test.

Failing that, could you create a new TC File (100MB?) and see if that uploads.

I would attempt a Scan disk to see if its a File System error.

Hope this helps.
