I renewed my personal license through the website. The license that I renewed had already expired, though. Now, it still shows expired and entering the license in the GUI results in an error stating that it has already expired. My credit card was charged, however. Not sure what the next step, but from reviewing the forum, it looks like something may need to be adjusted on the license server side. Any help would be appreciated.

Your license expired more than a year ago so after a one year renewal it is still expired (our licensing system adds time to the previous expiration date rather than the current time). I can manually adjust the expiration date for you but then your license won’t be eligible for the lifetime upgrade during our annual Black Friday sales. Please let me know if you want me to make the manual adjustment.

Sorry to bump an old thread - the above was very helpful to me and I wanted to add one other comment that may help other users:
If you have multiple personal licenses (just two in my case), don’t forget that you can enter your other license as a “promotional code” to still pay the lower renewal rate (as if you had remembered to renew on time :))
Thanks to the project maintainers for really doing a good job running the project and sticking to a simple, reasonable pricing structure, even if some of us get confused every once in awhile!
Hello I renewed my license about a week or two ago, but the Duplicacy GUI shows I have an invalid or expired license. On the website it shows my license expires in 2025.
Activate it again in webui. Click on “localhost” or whatever the link is called and give it the same license id.
