I just realized that the Backup ID is not obscured or encrypted on the destination storage, but instead, used as a folder name. For example,
Buckets/bucket_name/snapshots/backup_of_all_my_taxes/
As a result, if we assume the location of backup data is not a trusted environment, Backup IDs should be carefully chosen. How do you get around this?
I’d like to ask the Duplicacy community: what is your naming convention for Backup IDs, especially if you have many backups configured?
