as mentioned in killed-process-not-used-written-incomplete-file
shouldn’t duplicacy write “incomplete_chunks” periodically, because if it is killed during backup (e.g. a large initial one) it has to checksum (not necessarily upload) all chunks again, because of non existance of the incomplete_chunks file.
