Question about RSA encryption

If you add to a new repository, a storage location that has already been initialised by another repository using RSA encryption, does that mean you don’t need to add the -key command to the second repository?

I forgot to add the -key option, but it is a location that has already been initialised by another repository (and so I had to use the same encryption password). I assume that as it’s the same encryption password used, this means that the public RSA key is also used, but I wanted to make sure.

Yes. You can confirm that by starting backup. You will see a message “RSA encryption is on” or something along those lines.
