Rclone/rsync - can it affect Duplicacy restore?

Noob question here. I’m looking to use Duplicacy to backup firstly to a server, then less frequently from that server to offsite.

I was planning to use Duplicacy to backup clients to the server, then rsync or rclone to send those backups offsite.

If i needed to restore from the offsite, would any attributes or anything be affected by using rsync or rclone? I’m guessing no - but using ‘proper’ backup tools like Duplicacy is new to me :slight_smile:

So long as you mirror the entire storage, including the config file, chunks and snapshots directories, restore will function normally from that copy.
