Had to reinstall. Now only 3 errors - 1. ‘failed to list backup ids.’ 2. ‘Failed to list Google Drive storage’ 3. ‘open token json no such file or directory’
What do I need to do?

You need the googletoken file to access storage, or get a new one: Delete the google storage, and then add it again, with the same name.
Thanks.
I forgot how to get the token.
And you are talking about deleting the storage settings in Duplicacy, not the actual Google storage, correct?
How do I get the token and where do I enter it?
Yes, of course, just in duplicacy, not on google!
Then go through the process of adding the google storage again, you will end up downloading the token, just as you did when adding the storage the first time.
If you give that new storage the same name as the one just deleted – all schedules will continue working, they refer to the storage by that name.
Deleted one of the smaller one.Now trying to re-create. I get the options 1. directory 2. storage ( with a drop-down menu that only includes the name of the overall backup) 3. Backup Id, which leads to to the lack of token error)
I don’t get the choice of linking to offsite storage or anything else.
(If I can download the token, is there a folder or place I can upload it to?)
Ah, it is also possible that my license just expired this week. Need to get a new one. Update- still have 3 weeks
Follow this to get the token: Storage Backends · gilbertchen/duplicacy Wiki · GitHub
Then add Google Drive storage using the token:
I got this screen last year when I set this up, but I don’t have it now.
Trying to get to this screen.
Trying to. avoid deleting the entire backup, but it seems that I might have to. doo it in order to get the this storage option screen.
You don’t need to delete data on the server. Deleting data on the sever won’t magically make the app behave any differently.
Show the screenshot of what you have now, after clicking the plus icon to add storage. .
That Ui hasn’t changed.
I will delete it on the app. Then recreate with the same names.
Also I need to uncouple Duplicacy and Google first , because they say they have already issued a token so issue a new one.
Wish me luck. I will get back in a few hours.
Thanks
New error when configuring storage-
Failed to initialize the storage at gcd://Galaxy Photo Backup: Failed to download the configuration file from the storage: Failed to retrieve the config file: cipher: message authentication failed
Update - since I was using the same name I had to guess what the old password was. Fortunately I did. So it seem that we are back in business.THANKS FOR all your help
It’s not because you were using the same name. It’s because you were connecting to the existing encrypted storage and its the whole point of encrypting the backup — without the correct password it’s just useless pile of bytes.
