Run web-based GUI as different user on Windows

I am backing up a drive to which my regular user account doesn’t have full read access.

I currently run the Windows service that came with the old GUI as a different user who does have access.

How can I set up something similar with the new web-based GUI? I tried running the desktop shortcut created by the installer as the other user, but I still don’t have access.

Yes, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference with respect to file/directory permissions.

I think it is possible to turn the web GUI into a Windows service: https://www.howtogeek.com/50786/using-srvstart-to-run-any-application-as-a-windows-service/

However, I haven’t tested that myself. My goal is to get the service option into the next release.
