Send Success or Failure reports to Healthchecks.io?

What’s the current recommendation?

On a backup, I have configured Send report to https://hc-ping.com/[key]

but Healthchecks needs /fail appended to the url to register a failure, and Duplicacy doesn’t do that.

Is there a consistent way to deal with backups, copies, and checks and send the results to Healthchecks? I’ve seen threads referring to emails, and scripts.

Or is there a better service to use?

You can have healthchecks parse the json duplicacy sends, and that one contains success or failure indication.

Thanks for the reply. How do you get Healthchecks to parse the json? I could only see filter rules that applied to email.

I think I lost my mind… I was sure healthchecks supported that because I remember clear as day configuring that… But I don’t see that option anymore. Maybe it wasn’t healthcheks; maybe it was UptimeRobot, or Kuma, or statuscake? Hmmmmmm… I’ll try to find out what was it.

(You can definitely have duplicacy send emails to health checks, and they support filtering by keywords for success and failures, Configuring Checks - Healthchecks.io, but I remember it was doing that with urls too. I keep looking)
