Settings lost after restarting the duplicacy service

I stopped the Duplicacy service for a few days and after starting it again, I seem to have lost all of my settings. When I checked the ProgramData folder, it appears the files are all there, but the program appears to be looking for the duplicacy.json file in the C:\Users\Username/.duplicacy-web/ folder instead. I checked the settings and confirmed it appeared to change here as well. Why would this have happened?

I changed the temporary directory and log directory and it appears to have corrected the problem. Not sure why that happened…

If this is on windows, you have installed the first duplicacy as a service for all users, but second one as local one for current user.

Uninstall it again, run installer as administrator, and install it for all users.

But it did not. It won’t have access to VSS and anything else outside of your home directory.

Don’t use the desktop icon when you install as as service.

Re-installing Duplicacy resolved the issue. Thanks for the assist.
