I am using the WebUI and today I have changed my local storage mount path. The external HDD is stayed the same with all the existing chunks and backups. As I have read I have deleted the .repository. Now when I start a backup it says it will take at least 2 days with 7MB/s. This was the initial time when I first performed the backup of the repository. Any idea why indexing and caching would take so long?
Since you changed the path, all of the files could potentially be different from duplicacy’s perspective. So it has to reread, chunk, and hash them all like during the initial backup. If all of the files are the same, it should deduplicate most of the data against your existing storage and shouldn’t need to upload much.
