Hi, I’m getting this error on my Duplicacy trial. I also notice that it does not uninstall itself properly, leaving many files and the service still installed. Is there any way for my trial to resume? I’ve tried uninstalling using revo-uninstaller to remove additional files, registry keys, etc but no luck.
I’m running Windows Server 2012 Std on my home server.
This is a bug in that the uninstaller doesn’t seem to be able to uninstall the service. If you stop the service first you should be able to remove all related files.
If you remove the registry entry HKLM/Software/Duplicacy/License it will download a new trial license for you.
I stopped the service first and the uninstaller still does not remove it upon uninstallation.
However, deleting the reg key in question fixed my trial, thanks.
